Nag Tibba or Serpent’s Peak, standing at an elevation of 9,915 feet is your calling if you are seeking a quick rendezvous in the Himalayas! It is the highest peak in the lower Himalayan ranges and in the Bugyal region of Uttarakhand.
Beautiful camping locations with glimpses of colossal mountain ranges such as Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, Black Peak, meandering trails through thick Deodar jungles, and some remote stretches interspersed with wild flora and exotic wildlife, Nag Tibba is flavored with all the elements of a great Himalayan trek. Being a circular trek, the Nag Tibba trek treats you to a brand new vista and fresh trails while descending from the summit. About Nag Tibba
Nag Tibba translates to “Abode of the Snake God or Nag Devta”. Local villagers have a deep reverence for the serpent deity. A temple dedicated to Nag Devta on the mountain summit carries significant value for the local populace. Every day devotees throng to offer their obeisance to Him with a staunch belief that Nag Devta is the protector of their land and cattle.
Pantwari is just an overnight journey away from Delhi. A 3-day journey from Delhi brings you to Nag Tibba and back, which makes it one of the most sought-after weekend treks. The Distance between Nag Tibba and Delhi is just 355 Km

Tour Plan
- Pickup from Dehradun, start our journey to Pantwari
- Upon our arrival at Pantwari, we’ll start the trek to the Nag Tibba Base camp. En route, we’ll have lunch.
- The trail is adorned with lush green forests with picturesque views of the Himalayas in the backdrop.
- We’ll check into our campsites and spend some leisure time.
- Dinner followed by an overnight stay in camps.
- After early morning breakfast, we’ll head towards the Nag Tibba summit which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks such as Trishul, Swargrohini, Bandarpoonch, and more.
- Afterward, we’ll descend back to Pantwari Village. En route, we’ll have lunch.
- In the evening drop to Dehradun.

Things to Carry
- Carry Warm T-Shirts.
- Warm light microfleece pullovers, or Thick Fleece.
- Two Trekking Pants that are water-resistant/repellent and having inside lining for extra warmth.
- Keep a good quality Windproof/water-resistant outer shell (jacket) with a proper hood.
- Thermal inner wear (upper and lower).
- Take a Woolen cap, scarf, few pairs of warm fleece gloves.
- Thick woolen socks and regular socks (4-5 pairs).
- Comfortable waterproof Trekking/Hiking shoes that come with a thick sole and high ankles, and a pair of sneakers or sports shoes.
- Raincoat / Poncho, Insulated water bottle.
- A good pair of sunglasses with UV protection with the ability to cut the glare is crucial when traversing through the snow.
- Sturdy walking stick / Trekking pole.
- Love for yourself and for every living, and non-living thing.
