Day 1
DELHI TO SHIMLA
Leave from Delhi by 09:30 PM and reach Shimla the next morning.
Day 2
SARAHAN
- This stands around 7100 feet above sea level and is a little hamlet that can be easily covered by foot.
- The snow-covered Shrikhand Mahadev Peak towers over it while the River Sutlej flows in the valley below Sarahan.
- This place belongs to the district of Bushehr even though it lies within the borders of Shimla. Tourists come here for the beauty of this place and the famous Bhimkali Temple that is to be found here.
- This is one place that will leave you wanting more and one is sure to come back for a second time.
- Overnight stay at Sarahan
Day 3
CHITKUL
Chitkul - Another enchanted place in this beautiful land. Has a high-altitude river flowing right beside it. Offers grand views of the nearby mountain peaks. It is also a starting and endpoint for multiple high-altitude treks.
- After breakfast, leave for Chitkul the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route.
- Walk through the green orchards, by a brilliant stream.
- As the day falls, return to your stay in Sangla for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4
TABO - AJANTA OF HIMALAYAS
Founded in the 996 AD, the Tabo Gompa is the Oldest and Largest Monastery in the Spiti Valley. The monastery also is known as the “Ajanta and Elora of Himalaya”. Tabo village is one of the finest settlements in the Spiti Valley.
- After breakfast in the early morning, we'll check out of our hotels and head towards Tabo.
- En route, we’ll be making a pit stop at Khab, which is the beautiful confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti rivers. We’ll also be traversing through Nako Village where we'll visit Nako lake and the Nako Monastery.
- Upon our arrival in Tabo, we'll check into our homestays.
- Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Tabo.
Day 5
KAZA - THE ULTIMATE HIMALAYAN TOWN
Kaza or Kaja as the locals say is the headquarters of Spiti Valley. The city is well developed with almost all infrastructural facilities, amidst dry cold deserts. Kaza has a lot to offer in terms of culture and belief, besides the shopping arcade, Cafés, and eating joints.
- Post breakfast, we’ll start our journey towards the headquarters of Spiti, i.e Kaza.
- En route, we’ll make a pitstop at the 1021-year-old Tabo Monastery followed by the Dhankar Monastery.
- We’ll reach Kaza before dusk falls. Post-check-in, you’re free to explore the town.
- Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Kaza.
Note: The visit to Dhankar Monastery is subject to weather conditions.
Day 6
HAMLETS OF SPITI - KOMIK, HIKKIM, LANGZA, KAZA
- Post breakfast, we’ll head out for Key Monastery followed by Chicham Bridge (Asia’s Highest Bridge).
- Later in the day, we will visit Hikkim (the highest post office in the world).
- After that, we’ll move towards Komic village (one of the highest villages in the world, elevated at 4600 meters connected by a motorable road).
- We’ll be visiting Langza and seeing the famous Buddha statue.
- Head back to Kaza. After reaching our hotel/homestay, dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 7
KAZA TO KALPA
- After an early breakfast, we’ll head out to visit Kalpa.
- Walk around the breezy terraces overlooking the town and watch the drama in the narrow streets.
- We will further drive towards Spiti Valley via Roghi Cliff and Roghi village in Kalpa.
- We shall chain up our tires at “Tinku Glacier’. After crossing Khab Bridge (A gateway to Spiti Valley) we will get a thin layer of snow on the road.
- Overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 8
KALPA TO SHIMLA
- Post breakfast at the hotel, you will head towards Shimla, known as the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh.
- Travel through the slithering roads following the Satluj and passing the rich Deodhar forests to reach Shimla.
- Upon reaching Shimla rest in the comfort of modern civilization, with a bag of delightful memories and exciting stories
- Conclude the tour as you get dropped at Shimla Bus Stop where you will be boarding an AC Volvo Bus back to Delhi
Day 9: Reached Delhi around 7-8 am.
